In line with its policy of supporting artistic development and research in the domain of the arts, Atelier-Museu Júlio Pomar/EGEAC have partnered with RU –Residency Unlimited, NY, to offer a three-month arts residency to a Portuguese artist or duo in New York. The artist/s are proposed and nominated by an independent, reputable jury.

Residency Unlimited (RU) is based in New York and operates in the field of the arts while promoting and interexchange between national and international professionals though exclusive residency programmes. Beyond the traditional studio model, RU builds strategic partnerships with partner institutions to offer residencies that are flexible and adapted to the targets and individual needs of artists/curators.
